EBooks

The University of Padova Library System offers an impressive collection of eBooks, which are available online.

How to access eBooks. It is possible to consult eBooks from all of the computer stations connected to the University network; users with an @unipd.it or @studenti.unipd.it e-mail account can access them with their own devices, even when using an external network, through a proxy service or, in some cases, by logging in using a Single Sign-On service. However, there is no formal procedure for consulting free and Open Access books.

Where to look for eBooks. eBooks can be searched for in the Catalogue of the University of Padova Library System. In the eBooks Section, it is possible to search for titles and get detailed information on the main collections, which are organised by discipline.

How to use eBooks. Some eBooks can only be viewed online, whereas others can be fully or partially downloaded and/or printed: it will therefore be necessary to check the terms and conditions of use for each document.

Digital lending. Digital lending, which allows you to download books onto your device for a limited amount of time, can be used with DRM Adobe protected eBooks.
